Let’s talk about Julian Castro, the keynote speaker at the 2012 DNC

With all the focus on Chris Christie at the RNC and the announcement of Paul Ryan as the VP pick for the GOP, let’s talk about some of the fresh blood entering the American political sphere, because we certainly need it.

For example, there’s this guy, the mayor of San Antonio, and his twin brother, Joaquin, who are the future of the Democratic Party, America, and Texas. The demographics are in place. Just give it 30 more years, and we could see a Democratic Texas (it existed 50 years ago. Remember LBJ?).

Nice quick read about a rising figure

Julian Castro, 37-Year-Old Mayor of San Antonio
